Here is a list of FAQs from our guests.

What are the times for check-in and check-out? What should we do if we will be late in arriving?
Check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM. Please inform us if you will arrive later than 6:00 PM.
For dinner and breakfast, are they served in our room? Also, what time is dinner served from?
All dinners are served in your room. Please enjoy the view of the beautiful Sea of Japan while dining on a generously portioned and luxurious meal. Dinner can be served between 6:00-6:30 PM. Breakfast is served in the 2nd Floor Grand Banquet Hall and will be a Japanese style dish. Please come to the hall between 7:30-8:30AM (Last meal is served at 8:30 AM).
What are the room rates for children?
Children from 2 to 6 years (preschool age) are charged 2,160 yen to 8,640 yen depending on whether or not meals and or futon (bedding) is needed. Please contact us for details. Children and infants under 2 years are not charged.
When will I be charged for cancelling?
Cancellation charges begin 7 days from your check-in date.
A 20% charge of your total if canceled 3-7 days in advance.
A 50% charge of your total if canceled one day before.
A 100% charge of your total is canceled on the day of check-in or you are a no-show/no-contact.
I am thinking about going by train. What is the closest train station? Is there a shuttle service?
The closest station to us is YUHIGAURA-KITSU ONSEN STATION on the Kyoto Tango Railway. Limited express trains make stops at this station, so it is convenient. We provide a shuttle that runs according to the arrival and departure times of the trains. Please contact us in advance to confirm.
What time can I use the public bath or outdoor [open-air] bath?
The baths are open from 3:00 PM until 9:00 AM the next morning. You are welcome to enjoy the baths early in the morning or late at night.
Are there any non-smoking rooms?
The hotel's public areas, except the guest rooms are designated non-smoking. (There are designated smoking areas on the 2nd floor and in the lounge.) Although we do not have non-smoking rooms, we try to ventilate and air out the rooms as much as possible for your comfort. If you are bothered by the smell, we can lend you an air purifier, please ask us for it if you would like it.
Can I use a credit card as payment? What kind of card can I use?
Yes, you can use a credit card. The cards accepted are: AMEX, Diners, Nicos, DC, UC, VISA, JCB. However, sometimes depending on your plan cards can not be used. Please check with us when you make your reservation.
I am thinking about going to the beach in the summer, is there a laundry room? Also, could you keep my luggage?
The hotel has a special passage for guests coming from the beach, it makes it easy to shake the sand off and shower in your swim wear. You can enter the public bath directly from here. There are also washing machines (paid) and coin lockers in the shower space for you convenience.
